Job description
As part of a newly created position, we are looking for a QA Manager to continuously ensure the reliability, performance, and robustness of our solutions. Working closely with the QA Technical Lead, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the quality strategy, driving continuous improvement of testing processes, and leading the QA team.
As Centreon is a multi-product platform, you will be responsible for the quality of all three Centreon products, taking into account the specific challenges and requirements of each one. The Release Management team will be a key day-to-day partner in improving delivery and release processes.
You will also play a key role in establishing a strong quality culture across all teams—from the early design phases, through implementation with developers, to production deployments with SREs—working closely with the entire R&D management team.
With a Customer First mindset, your actions will directly strengthen user trust and help reduce the load on our support teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop the QA team
Define and drive the overall quality strategy
Promote a quality-driven culture across all stakeholders
Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting
Implement and continuously optimize QA tools and reporting
Ensure the overall quality of the products
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the release process (velocity, reliability)
Job requirements
Profile & Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BSc / MSc) in Computer Science
At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role
Strong methodological expertise in software testing
Clear understanding of modern QA tooling standards and DevOps processes
Good knowledge of the nuances of various agile methodologies
Strong attention to detail and natural empathy for end users
Ability to prioritize and arbitrate effectively
Strong organizational skills and ability to structure team work
Clear, concise, and effective communication
Strong team-oriented mindset
Autonomous and comfortable working with a wide range of technologies
Nice to have:
Sensitivity to open-source culture
Strong interest in observability
High awareness of user experience (performance, usability, ergonomics, etc.)
